  • Sydalyn Hill (401 Toll House Gulch Rd, Felton, CA 95018)

  • The first shuttle will pick-up at 2:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available before the ceremony.

  • The ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m.

  • We have a strict sound curfew of 9 p.m. but all are welcome to join us for an after party at Monty’s Log Cabin. Shuttles remain running until 12 a.m. at that time you are responsible for your own transportation. 

  • Garden party cocktail attire. Wear your brightest colors, celebrate the beautiful garden scenery. We love color.

  • The ceremony is outdoors. Parasols will be provided for the ceremony to keep guests protected from peak sun. Bringing a light layer for the evening  is recommended as it can get windy at Sydalyn Hill. 

  • Felton, CA, has very mild weather, warm during the day and comfortably cool at night. August highs typically range from 81 degrees during the day and 55 degrees at night. 

  • If children are addressed on your invitation they are absolutely welcome. We will have Shirley Temples at the ready. 

  • If your invitation includes a plus one when you RSVP, you are welcome to bring an additional guest. 

  • Only if it’s Matthew McConaughey.

  • San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will probably be the easiest option for many of our guests. Additionally, San Jose (SJC) or Oakland (OAK) might offer more affordable flights for those travelling domestically. 

  • We highly recommend renting a car. Felton, CA, does not have any direct public transportation routes.

  • Guests staying at the Sheraton Four Points can pick up the shuttle from the Sheraton Four Points parking lot. If you are staying at other accommodations, park at St. John’s Catholic Church. The shuttle will pick up from this location. Please DO NOT drive to the wedding venue. There is limited parking reserved for vendors and select guests requiring early arrivals. 

  • Uber and Lyft can be convenient for getting around Santa Cruz during your stay, but we strongly recommend against relying on rideshare for the wedding.

    While you may be able to get a ride to Sydalyn Hill, finding an Uber or Lyft willing to come up to Felton for a late-night pickup can be nearly impossible.

  • Garden party cocktail attire. Wear your brightest colors, celebrate the beautiful garden scenery. We love color.

  • The venue is outdoors and not well suited for stiletto or kitten heels. We recommend wedges or block heels. More importantly, bring your dancing shoes!

  • It can get windy on the hill and temperatures can drop to 55 degrees at night. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the evening. 

  • August is peak summer in the Santa Cruz area. Although the weather is typically moderate, it can get up to 85 degrees. Most parts of the venue are located in the shade. Parasols will be provided for the outdoor ceremony.

  • Yes! We are so excited to feed you. Come hungry!

  • Yes! We will collect information on all your dietary restrictions with your RSVP. We will work to ensure every guest has adequate and delicious options that reflect your dietary needs. 

  • Yes, the venue is ADA accessible. Although, if you do require assistance or utilize a wheel chair, please reach out to Clare! Events will happen throughout the property and we would like to ensure you are able to get around seamlessly. The property includes a golf cart to transport any individuals who require it. 

  • Please RSVP no later than June 26. 

  • Service is limited and spotty.
